Väga kaua pole kõrv sellisel moel lustinud. Kaks vinüüli, üks album. Muusika mahuks ju ka ühele plaadile aga ei, helikvaliteedi puhul ei tee see bänd kompromisse, mõnusalt „laia joonega” lõigatud. Mis teeb siis selle albumi niivõrd eriliseks? Sellist helikeelt oleksin justkui varemgi kuulnud, isegi plaadi kujundus tundub kuidagi tuttav. See on muinasjutt, legend mis leiab aset täna, mitte eile, sest sellist bändi ja veel niivõrd noorte liikmetega justkui ei tohikski olemas olla. Olen harjunud mõtlema, et psühhedeelse roki romantikat peab otsima minevikust. Siiski see nii ei ole, plaadifirma Modular on Austraaliast toonud meieni Tame Impala, ajatut heli pakkuva koosluse, mis sõidab kõige paremas mõttes otse Sinust läbi.

Juhtus nii, et poodi astus härrasmees Venemaalt ja ostis kõik plaadid ära. Tellis auto, palkas ühe transamehe ja nüüd ongi selline seis, et vinüülipoel ei ole enam ühtegi vinüüli. Kuna uus kaubavalik, mis asub Eestist küllaltki kaugel, on alles koostamisel, siis on pood ajutiselt suletud.

Ma tunnen tuules sügist. Näen, kuidas lehed hakkavad kolletuma, tajun, et õhtul saabub pimedus juba veidike varem, iga päevaga aina lähemale hiilides.
Kõige selle keskel tähistab “Vinüül” täna oma esimest sünnipäeva. Tähtpäevale lisab rõõmu teadmine, et üsna varsti on oodata “Vinüülile” väikest
venda, kes näeb ilmavalgust Tartus, Genialistide klubi ruumides.
Siiski oli selle kirja algne mõte midagi muud. Tahtsin öelda, et kui satud lonkima meie rohelist värvi vana puumaja ligidusse või tead, et võid lubada endale veidike vabadust, siis tule astu läbi, võta vaagnalt mõni õun või paar ploomi, vaju nahkdiivanisse ning unusta korraks kõik peale muusika.
Laupäeval, 11.07.09, Toimub Telliskivi Loomelinnakus kirbuturg, kuhu ka meie suundume oma plaate müüma. Turg algab kell 10 hommikul ja kestab kuni kella kolmeni päeval. Rohkem infot:

Esmaspäeval, 06.07.09, toimub meil poes Móre – Maailm on Hukas LP tänavamüük.Móre tuleb isiklikult kohale ja müüb oma mussi kella 17-19ni ja kes teab, äkki jagab ka autogramme ja vastab ka teie küsimustele.Plaadi hinnaks on 150 krooni. Peale selle toimuvad ka esitluspeod – sellele on pühendatud 3. juuli Hip Hop Café ning 11. juuli Rakvere Art Café-s toimuv Lejal’Nyte!’
Lisaks Virumaa Poistekoorile teevad albumil kaasa ka Tommy Boy, Stupid F, Rassakas, Maxtract, Gee, Hell Verner ja mahedahäälne Gerda, kes teeb kaasa loos “Ei Kuule Mind?”. Taustad tegi albumile Hash, Gee, Maxtract, Paul Oja, Rassakas, One Shot, 2015, Kalvik ja Sim Kares.

Popikuningas on meie hulgast lahkunud ja “Vinüülis” kõlab hetkel tema 1973 aasta album “Music and Me”. Päevapoole kindlasti veel The Jacksons aastast 1980, album “Triumph” ning loomulikult ka legendaarne “Bad”.
